NIGEL Day won the Jersey Cup at West Berks with 38 points, Keith Wilkins was second with 37 and Mary Harwood third with 35 while Garry Postlethwaite won the Saturday stableford with 36 points, three clear of Daniel Bowsher with Simon Barrie a shot further behind in third place.
Ann Davies won the ladies’ Saturday medal with nett 76 followed by Georgie Seaman on 77 with Tina Mulford a shot behind third, while Graham Coe’s nett 76 secured first place in the seniors’ medal follow by Gerald Brown on 77 and Tony Cleaver on 79.
Ray Evans won the midweek stableford with 39 points, Gerald Brown was second with 37 and Martin Easterbrook third on 35.
In the team events the Central Sevens team secured a closely fought 4-3 victory at home against Cherwell Edge while the seniors lost 4-2 at home to Caversham Heath.
