A MAN was rushed to hospital after falling down the stairs and getting trapped behind his front door.
The alarm was raised at around 1.30am this morning and emergency services rushed to Drovers Way, in Woodley, to find the 26-year-old had fallen down the main stairs of the maisonette and become trapped behind the main door.
Firefighters from Wokingham Road removed the door and helped paramedics lift the man, who was complaining about back injuries, into the ambulance.
He was taken to the Royal Berkshrie Hospital for treatment.
