A PROPERTY believed to be a hotbed for drug dealers has been shut down by police after they obtained a court order.

Thames Valley Police said it had managed to obtain a closure order against the property in Shenston Court, James Street in Windsor.

It comes after the arrest of six people at the property on suspicion of possessing with intent to supply class A drugs.

The six were arrested on Thursday, June 8 but have been released under investigation, TVP said.

The order prevents anyone without a reasonable excuse to reside or enter the premises.

Investigating officer Sgt Leigh Boon, of the neighbourhood problem solving team, said: “This closure follows a number of arrests, and will prevent anyone from entering the property.

“We are committed to safeguarding residents and will do what is necessary to protect our communities from anti-social behaviour and crime.

“If you have any concerns about properties being used for criminal activity, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
