CHALLENGE seekers can put their brains to the test against a Mensa IQ test in Reading this weekend.
The high IQ society are inviting intellects and curious residents to take the Mensa test at the Salvation Army Centre in Anstey Road this Saturday at 2pm.
Challengers with an IQ in the top two per cent of the population will be invited to join the Mensa society, which currently has around 20,000 members.
The society offers a variety of social events, a monthly magazine, regional newsletters and more than 100 special interest groups.
A spokesman for Mensa Uk said the test costs £24.95 and must be booked in advance, adding: "The brain is the most important organ in the body and needs regular exercise to keep it ticking over. A daily crossword, Sudoku or brainteaser can help keep your mind alert, but you could go one step further and complete a Mensa supervised test or the free online workout."
