THE LEXICON has picked up two awards, whilst being recognised as the 33rd best shopping destination in the UK.

In the Trevor Wood Associates list of best shopping attractions in the UK for 2018, compared with 255th in 2017.

At the Revo Gold Awards held last week, The Lexicon walked away with the prize in the 'new' category for projects that have impacted the community, and was also voted 'best of the best'.

The latter of the two awards was voted for by a poll of the 1,000 guests that attended the awards dinner.

Cllr Marc Brunel-Walker, executive member for economic development and regeneration, says: “We’re so pleased that The Lexicon has been recognised as a fantastic place to visit by industry experts as well as our residents. It really is the social and economic heart that the borough has been waiting many, many years for. We couldn’t be more proud.”

Simon Russian, development manager for Legal & General on behalf of Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, says: “We were delighted to receive this accolade from the retail industry.  Visitor numbers and feedback have also been extremely positive over the first few months. Bracknell now has a town centre to be very proud of.”
