Wasing Estate is delighted to announce its full line up for Solstice On The Mount and The Fireside Sessions on Thursday June 20.

Set in the heart of Berkshire, the much-anticipated solstice celebrations return with a host of special acts across two musical offerings.

This year, Solstice On The Mount is headlined by acclaimed artists Nick Mulvey and Rodrigo y Gabriela, joined on the bill by The Yawanawa.

Nick Mulvey: “I got goosebumps when I was asked to play the solstice gig.

"Playing at the actual solstice moment at 9.50pm is going to be a wonderful experience fusing music and nature’s artistry and connecting us all in time and with the world around us.

"I can’t wait."

Previously a member of the critically acclaimed group Portico Quartet, Nick Mulvey frames themes of nature, spirituality and personal growth as a focal point embellished with his distinct blend of folk, pop and intricate guitar work alongside poetic and introspective lyrics.

2024 sees the 10th anniversary of his Mercury Prize nominated debut solo album 'First Mind' featuring the hit singles 'Fever To The Form' and 'Cucurucu'.

Nick will be on stage at 9.50pm at the pinnacle moment when the Solstice takes place; connecting concertgoers in time & with his music and the natural world around us.

As a separate ticket offering which includes overnight camping, Fireside Sessions will spark the solstice celebration's shift from day into night with special performances from world music artists AWARË and Ajeet.

For those seeking a free-spirited experience, The Fireside Sessions takes place as an evening concert by the Sacred Glade fire on the estate, giving a moment to connect with nature and the solstice vibes under the stars.

The following morning a guided Sunrise Ceremony will take place at dawn to welcome the new sun.

Set on Wasing Estate, The Mount is a stunning enclave right in the heart of the countryside.

From the woodland trail arrival into a unique and mindful space to the wildflowers awaiting concertgoers within the amphitheatre, this is a truly transportive venue to see defining live acts, fully immersed in nature.

Wasing Estate itself is heralded for the way it breaks the mould for country estates and this ethos is reflected in the concerts; Wasing hosts healing retreats enriched with nature immersion, wellbeing festivals, and restorative events with a focus on the connection between the planet and its people.

Both shows are alcohol-free, allowing guests to be truly connected and present in the moment.
