Festival line-ups for 2024 have started to be announced, with the Isle of Wight Festival line-up being released on Thursday, November 2.

Tickets for the Reading Festival have already gone on sale, with the festival set to kick off on Thursday, August 22, 2024, until Sunday, August 25, 2024.

Many are now eagerly awaiting the announcement of the headline acts.

In the meantime, Betfred has turned to AI to help predict who could be next year's headliners.

Having asked the AI what six headliners could be playing, it said:

  • Sam Fender
  • Liam Gallagher
  • Green Day
  • Foo Fighters
  • Ice Spice
  • Doja Cat

Betfred showbiz specialist, Kayley Cornelius said: “Overall, I feel as though AI has provided a very strong selection of artists, and this lineup may not be a million miles off the final bill.

“While Sam Fender, Ice Spice and Doja Cat are yet to reveal whether they have plans to tour in 2024 or not, they all definitely tick the boxes when it comes to consumer demand and popularity.

"These artists combined have around 106 million monthly listeners on Spotify - and all managed to shoot to fame with the help of Tiktok - making them some of the most recognised and sought-after artists currently.

“Sam Fender also made his debut headliner appearance at the festival this August bank holiday which he described as a ‘career highlight,’ so it will be interesting to see if he returns for round two next year.

“Artists such as Liam Gallagher, Foo Fighters and Green Day have all already announced massive UK shows for 2024 which are all projected to sell out.

“Next year will also mark 11 years since Green Day last took to the Reading and Leeds main stage, so I would say they are more than overdue to play again.”
