FRESH water will be delivered to deprived areas in memory of a young man who recently passed away.
Mohammed Jabir Ghani, 27, of Uxbridge Road, Slough, passed away of natural causes at the family home in March. His family have been working together to honor him by raising money to install water wells in deprived communities worldwide.
Mr Ghani’s sister, Juleah Begum, also of Uxbridge Road, shared her memories.
She said: “He was a very good person – he was very good to people, even to people he didn’t know. He brought a smile to everyone’s faces – he was a good son to mum and dad, he always put them first. He was very giving to charity.
We didn’t know all these things about him at first, but after he died, many people came to tell us.”
The drive has raised £923, enough to install a well in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
