SCHOOLCHILDREN celebrated the Harvest Festival by donating gifts to an elderly day care centre.
Parents and boys from the Papplewick primary school in Ascot gave tins of food and fresh flowers to the residents of Ascot Day Centre.
On October 14, the students took the time out of their weekends to visit the day centre to chat with the residents, while giving them the harvest gifts.
Tom Bunbury, Papplewick School Headmaster, said: “Kindness is an important value here at Papplewick, and every year our boys enjoy collecting harvest gifts for the Day Centre here in Ascot, where the produce is much appreciated.
"Many thanks to all our parents who contributed Harvest Festival produce this year.”
