A DOG lover has achieved her childhood dream of qualifying for Crufts.
Vicki Young, from Birch Hill, has been competing in agility events for over 10 years and will now fulfill her ambition of competing at Crufts next year with dog Oreo.
The pair saw off competition from around the world at the Kennel Club International Agility Festival held at Rockingham in Northamptonshire, one of the highlights of the agility calendar.
Ms Smith said: "It has always been a dream to get to Crufts and this has now come true.
"Oreo is a three-year-old Toy Poodle X Bichon and she has been competing for just over a year. She has already achieved a lot and we have already competed in three other finals.
"I am super proud of her and love running her. I am very excited to be going to Crufts, this has been a dream since I was a child, where I used to attend Crufts."
