Britain's most acclaimed punk poet is set to perform in Reading.
Dr John Cooper Clarke is bringing his unique brand of shambolic poetry to Sub89 on Wednesday April 6.
Clarke rose to fame during the punk rock era of the late 1970s, releasing several albums and performing on the same circuit as bands such as the Sex Pistols, the Buzzcocks and Elvis Costello.
Often referred to as "the bard of Salford", he usually refers to himself on stage as "Johnny Clarke, the name behind the hairstyle".
John Cooper Clarke is performing at Sub89 at 7pm on Wednesday. Tickets can be purchased from sub89.com
