A ROBBER brandished a gun and threatened staff and customers at a betting shop in Basingstoke Road yesterday.
The offender demanded cash from the Ladbrokes after entering the store at around 6pm.
He then threatened a customer before making off with cash, some of which he dropped on his way out.
No one was injured during the incident but police are appealing for information.
The offender is white, aged in his mid twenties to mid thirties, approximately 6ft, medium build.
He was wearing a distinctive black or dark blue adidas hooded top, which had three white stripes running from the top of the hood, down the outside of both arms and to the wrists, a yellow baseball cap and dark trousers.
