YOUNG people had one last opportunity to get creative and explore their artistic side with a final graffiti workshop of the summer holiday.

Funded by the YMCA, Langley Library held a graffiti workshop on Thursday (27/8) for young people aged seven to 18 to attend.

This was one of several art-focussed workshops that have been available over the summer including contemporary art, sculptures and mono printing.

Carol Phillips, organiser of the event and freelance artist, said: "In general there aren't a lot of free activities in Slough that are art based, it ay change when the Curve opens but at the moment workshops like these are lacking in area.

"In creativity there are so many skills you can acquire and this offers the opportunity for that - mastering a few creative skills and character building."
