Martina Kathleen Bernadette Downey
DOWNEY Martina Kathleen Bernadette Passed away on Sunday 10th March 2024 aged 67, after a brave battle with breast cancer. Martina will be greatly missed by her son Michael, her granddaughter Faith, her sister Eileen, her four brothers, Michael, Stephen, Peter and Mark, as well as a large extended family and all those that knew and loved her. At Martina's request, a small 'family' service will take place at Reading Crematorium on Tuesday 2nd April and a celebration of Martina's life will follow at the Crown at Playhatch from 1pm for those that knew her. The family wish is for no flowers but if you would like to donate to the Macmillan Nurses or the Sue Ryder charities in memory of Martina this can be done through AB Walker and Son funeral directors www.abwalker.co.uk 0118 957 3650

Tina was a lovely woman who showed us immense kindness from our first moment on Washington Road
When she arrived late in to the night on our doorsteps with a tray of much need food . we were already hungry and exhausted from unpacking
she will be forever remembered and greatly missed, rest in eternal peace

I have known Martina and family since I was ten and always loved her I will miss her beauty and lovely personality and miss the times we bumped into each other and chatted RIP you most beautiful loving person. Gxxx
