Championship clubs are considering a radical plan to cap player wages to £6k a week as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, according to national reports.
A report in The Telegraph says that players will be asked to take major pay cuts in order to help cope with the financial impact of the season's suspension.

The report does, however, claim that the cap would face severe opposition from the PFA if the league decided to implement it.
Currently, the league is set to resume at the end of the month - although serious questions remain over the possibility of a further extension to the suspension as the COVID-19 virus continues to spread.
