EMMER Green suffered penalty heartbreak as they were knocked out of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup at the semi-final stage, going down 5-4 on spot-kicks to Magpies 91, writes Richard Ashton.

The Senior Division table-toppers had earlier played out a 1-1 draw with their visitors, Jordan Lovelock on target for Green.

Mortimer reached the final of the Junior Cup with a hard-fought 2-1 success at home to Datchet Village Reserves, Joe Webb and Lewis Butcher with the vital goals.

In the Industrial Cup, Emmer Green Reserves were also beaten at the last-four stage, edged out 2-1 at home to Park Villa.
