MORTIMER ladies got the better of top-three rivals S4K FC in their Thames Valley Counties League Division Three South match at Larges Lane on Sunday, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Louise Delaney and Beth Millican.
Mortimer, beaten only once in 12 league games this season, leapfrog the Bracknell-based team into second place with 25 points, five behind leaders Newbury Ladies Development with three games in hand.
S4K slip to third place with 23 points from 13 games.
