Mannone has spent the last 12 months playing his football in the MLS with Minnesota United, where he played 34 league games for the club.
During his time with the Royals, he appeared 47 times.
In a club statement, Reading said: "Everyone at Reading Football Club would like to wish Vito the very best of luck during his loan period in Denmark."
