BERKS County turned in a brilliant display as they crushed basement side Woodley United Royals 7-0 to climb to the top of the Premier Division, writes Richard Ashton.

The Swords raced into a 3-0 half-time lead before adding a further four second-half goals to seal a comfortable victory.

Former leaders Westwood Wanderers crashed to a 3-2 reverse at Wraysbury Village as a George Dewhurst brace and a goal from substitute Darren Kuti did the damage for the hosts.

Woodcote returned to winning ways with an upset 5-2 home win against high-flying Maidenhead Town.

Tom Brownlow put the hosts in front before Austyn Chadwick equalised shortly after, but Tommy Chapman netted to give Woodcote a 2-1 half-time lead.

Further strikes from Jake Dillon and Justin Trow, along with an own goal, sealed the win for Cote, Mitchell Burley grabbing a late consolation for the visitors.

Cookham Dean climbed off the foot of the table with a 4-3 success in a seven-goal thriller at Windlesham United.

Alex Gibson bagged a brace for the visitors, with their other goals coming from John Walters and Codie Sumner.

For Windlesham, there was a double for Sam Roberts and a goal for replacement Dean Lockley.

James Payne scored a 94th-minute equaliser to rescue a point for Finchampstead in their 2-2 draw with Mortimer.

Substitute Thomas Symms also netted for the hosts, with Mortimer's goals coming from Jake Tucker and Carl Self.

Second-placed Goring United remain just two points adrift with a game in hand after they eased to a 4-1 home victory against Phoenix Old Boys Reserves.

Dan Houseman, Matt Ploszynski, Josh Monk and Matt Hayden were on the scoresheet for the hosts, with the Phoenix reply coming from replacement Ryan Williams.

Charlie Hill bagged a brace and Aaron Sullivan, Callum Molloy and Michael Fountain also found the back of the net as second-placed Taplow United Vets crushed Henley Town Development 5-1 in Division Four.

Charlie Douglas got the consolation for the Red Kites.
