FC BRACKNELL Under 15s go into the Christmas break unbeaten in November and December after despatching AFC Charvil 3-0 last weekend.

Oliver Clarke opened the scoring in the first half after some great build-up play.

In the second half, the wind grew stronger, but there was no holding up the Blues as Callum Gaskin doubled their lead from Clarke’s cross.

After withstanding a short spell of pressure from Charvil, Bracknell netted their third goal when Thomas Blume fed the ball to Clarke, who beat a defender and rounded the keeper to score.

Their man-of-the-match was Balvindar Birchall for controlling the midfield.

Charvil ended the match with 10 men after a bad challenge on Kian Knight, who was forced to leave the field.

This win lifted Blues to fourth place in East Berkshire FA Division One.

It was not such a good day for Bracknell U15s Colts, beaten 7-0 away by AFC Henley Hotspurs after trailing by just one goal at half-time. Their players-of-the-match were Rahul Gupta and Harry Miller.

Bracknell U13s Colts had a fine 4-2 win away to AFC Henley Hawks on a windy day.

They conceded two early goals and were hanging on in the first half, but turned the game around after half-time.

Guy Ward-Horner’s powerful shot saw them open their account and shortly afterwards a great strike from Max Johnstone brought the scores level.

Lewis Hunt then gave them the lead and Ramesh Yaqubzada, who was their stand-out player, put the issue beyond doubt to complete a fine recovery.

  • THE Harts of Bracknell Stages travelled to Fleet Town Colts Pumas to take them on in some of the worst weather they have ever played through.

Playing some lovely team football with excellent control and passing through the midfield, the Stags dominated throughout.

Shaun Allan bagged a brace in his first game as striker and the entire team put in a shift to defend their lead, conceding one before ending the game as winners.

The joint players-of-the-match were Allen for his great goals and Maxi Hayter for an outstanding performance in midfield.

Harts of Bracknell Tornados struggled to get much luck in attack and, despite some great running and some good passes, there was little opportunity to get in at goal against St Richard Reynolds.

Reynolds where attacking frequently and passing round our midfield but, defending with the wind against them, Tornados held strong for the half.

The second-half play opened up a bit and both teams where getting shots off, but for Bracknell it was not working today.

It was an unfortunate result for the team but some hard defending and a load of quality saves made it a very intense watch for everyone.

The man-of-the-match was Ollie Marlow

The final cup game for Harts of Bracknell U9s was another tricky game against a team two divisions above them in Reading City.

Bracknell did not start the game great but battled hard and Tommy Harper got on the scoresheet for the blades

Taion was man of the match for another solid performance.
