LUKE Wakatama bagged a brace as well as the player-of-the-match award as FC Bracknell Under 15s won 3-2 at Maidenhead Magpies Juniors to maintain their unbeaten run.

Taylor Hornbrook and Wakatama made it 2-0 at half-time, but Magpies got on level terms before the latter grabbed a late winner to secure the three points which lifted them into fifth place in EBFA Division One.

FCB U15 Youth could only field 11 players for their match with unbeaten leaders Maidenhead Magpies Colts, but they all worked their socks off in a 10-0 defeat. Aaron Fletcher was named their man-of-the-match with Kyle Buchler, Connor Wignall, Sammy Knapp and Daniel Powell also deserving a special mention.

In a U13 game, FCB Youth lost 4-2 to Hearts of Teddlothian Pumas. They twice came from behind to equalise through Louie Colwell and Callum Cobb, only to concede two fine goals in the last 10 minutes. During the first half, Jake Jones replaced the injured Riley Morgan in goal and produced two good saves. Josh Bunce was man-of-the-match.

FCB U12 Colts moved up to second in their league after beating leaders Wargrave Wolves Reds 8-3 with a superb display of attacking football. Vincent McBride-Brookes scored six goals for the second time this season with Aaron Gunnuck getting the other two. Their man-of-the-match award went to Artur Burszynski.

Also at U12 level, FCB Youth were edged out 3-2 in a friendly by a Westwood side which plays three divisions higher, their performance showing how much they have developed this season.

CHARLIE Reuby scored four times for Ascot United Under 15 Royals as they thumped Hawley Raiders 6-0.

Josh Andrews and Johnny Woodley were the other goalscorers.

A Franz Meyer double along with a Robbie Smith penalty inspired the U18 Royals to a 4-2 victory against Teddington Athletic, while the U13 Royals cruised to a 6-0 win against Pinewood Predators thanks to a Micah Prior brace and goals from Jonathan Makepeace, Seb Fernandez and William Walder plus an own goal.

The U13 Sapphires went down 9-0 to AFC Reading, but the U12 Sapphires won a thrilling cup clash with Maidenhead 6-5.

TOMMY Spender bagged a brace and man-of-the-match Callum Knight was also on target for Binfield Chargers Under 9s in their game with Cookham Dean.

Leo Pointon and Tommy Spender were also in good form for Chargers.

Jake Nickols and Aiden Drench, scored his first goal for Binfield, were the stand-out performers for Chargers in their Futsal clash with Alton Grizzles.
