MARLOW completed a hat-trick of wins on the road in Division One of the South Clubs Hockey League after a 4-2 victory at Guildford on Saturday.

Both clubs gained promotion last season, with Marlow in second place, so it was good to see the team finish on top this time around.

Jemima Coltman was the star on show with a hat-trick, and the win means Marlow have leapfrogged Guildford into fifth position in the league table.

The team is still searching for a first victory at home this season and welcome fourth-placed London Wayfarers to Pound Lane this Saturday (11.45am pushback).

The second team drew 1-1 at Henley 2s to remain in third place in Premier Division One of the Trysports Hockey League ahead of a trip to second-placed Oxford 2s on Saturday.

Marlow 3s won 2-1 at home against Oxford Hawks 4s to move into the top half in Premier Division Two. The side make the short trip to rivals Wycombe 2s this Saturday.

The fourth team lost 4-0 at Banbury 2s and slipped to ninth spot in Division One with league leaders Oxford 4s visiting on Saturday.

Marlow 5s drew 3-3 at Windsor 2s to remain in third position in Division Three. Sonning 4s make the trip to Pound Lane this Saturday.

The sixth side beat rivals Wycombe 6s 3-0 at home and continue to set the pace in Division Seven. Marlow head to Oxford 8s on Saturday.

Marlow men remain unbeaten at Pound Lane in the Middx, Berks, Bucks & Oxon Regional One this season following their 1-1 draw with Oxford University 2s.

The visitors proved to be difficult opponents, full of running and well organised, and scored the first goal in the match. Marlow replied with a well-taken goal from David Hand.

The home side did well to correct some defensive errors made in the first 20 minutes and hardly put a foot wrong out of possession for the remainder of the game.

Some calmer heads and better quality in the opposition circle would have secured all three points for Marlow, who pressed hard, but the Oxford keeper made two great saves.

The draw means Marlow stand in fourth position in the league table ahead of a visit from third-placed Oxford Hawks 2s this Saturday (1.30pm).

Marlow 2s travelled to Banbury 2s and came up against a strong side, far too good on the day, losing 7-1. The defeat leaves them in seventh position in MBB&O Regional Two ahead of a visit from third-in-the-table Wallingford on Saturday (1.30pm).

The third team showed what they are capable of in a 2-2 draw at home to Windsor with both goals coming from Joe Gleeson. Marlow, still bottom in the table and without a win, host third-bottom Abingdon this Saturday.

The fourth side lost 2-1 at Leighton Buzzard 2s with Mark Patterson on the scoresheet. The defeat leaves them in eighth spot in Division Four before travelling to West Hampstead 5s on Saturday (1.15pm).
