FIVE-STAR Berks County made it three Premier Division wins on the spin and inflicted a first defeat of the season on Maidenhead Town as they secured a stunning 5-0 away success, writes Richard Ashton.

Reading City U23 are the new table-toppers following their 3-0 home victory against Woodcote, with Westwood Wanderers leapfrogging previously unbeaten Newbury after they triumphed 2-1.

Clint Church, George Dewhurst and Pharrell Mensah netted for Wraysbury Village as they won 3-1 at Finchampstead.

In Division One, Lewis Butcher struck a hat-trick as Hurst won 3-0 at Eldon Celtic.

Datchet Village maintained their perfect start to the Division Two season by thrashing Woodley United A 7-0 to seal a fifth straight win.

Hat-trick hero Barry Dunbar led the way, with Adam Goldie bagging a brace and Paul Roake and Marcus Hippolyte also on target.

Matt Lambert, Joseph Peck and Andrew Herbert got the goals as Hurst Reserves edged out Maidenhead Town Reserves 3-2, Scott Cooper and Daryll Wearn replying for the visitors.

A Nathan Manser double earned Twyford & Ruscombe a 2-2 draw at Richings Park Reserves, while Harchester Hawks ran out 2-0 winners at Phoenix Old Boys.

Josh Monk bagged a brace as Division Three leaders Goring United defeated Maidenhead Town A 3-1.

James Pearson got the other Goring goal, while Joseph Park netted for Town.

An 88th-minute Rhydian Grange strike earned Hambleden a 1-1 draw against Phoenix Old Boys Reserves, Gavin Robson having put the visitors in front midway through the first half.

An Alex Platt double and goals from Lloyd Jaques and Dannie Campbell fired Berks County Reserves to a 4-1 victory at Mortimer Wanderers, Rohan Varma with the consolation.

Neil Austin scored for Marlow United Reserves in their 1-1 home draw with Taplow United Development, for whom Nick Fernandes hit the target.

Lee Lally, Charlie Lane and Steve Park all netted for Robertswood, but they went down 4-3 at home to Westwood Wanderers Development.

In Division Four, a Tyrese Connor double and a Dan Smith strike inspired Farnham Royal Mavericks to a 3-0 home win against AFC Corinthians, while Martin Greenwood's injury-time winner helped Goring United Reserves overcome Berks County Rovers 3-2.

Dan Reynolds and Ollie Pluck also netted for the away side.

A Jack Shea double and goals from Daniel Stacey and Jack Alder helped Cookham Dean advance in the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy with a dramatic 4-3 home win against Chalvey Sports.

Substitute Shane Gibson bagged a brace to fire Mortimer past Milton United 2-1, while Bracknell Town Reserves progressed with a 3-1 home success against Richings Park.

Ryan Farmer and Billy Margetts netted for Burghfield, but they exited 3-2 to Wantage Town Reserves.

In the Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup, Woodcote Reserves suffered penalty heartbreak as they went down 3-2 on spot-kicks at home to Yarnton Reserves.

Andy Taylor and Justin Trow had scored for Cote as the two sides earlier drew 2-2, while Rotherfield United were also eliminated as they lost 4-2 at Berinsfield.

Henley Town are through, though, following a 4-1 win at Launton Sports.
