Mark Hughes is odds-on to become Reading's new manager following the exit of Jose Gomes, according to SkyBet.
Gomes officially left the club today after days of speculation over his job.
Hughes has been hotly tipped to be the next boss at the Madejski and is currently 1/2 for the role.
The Welshman is apparently in talks with the club and former Wales international Daniel Gabbidon expects Hughes to take the role.
