THREE Berkshire clubs are involved in FA Cup action this weekend – with one even playing in front of the BBC TV cameras.

Thatcham Town are home to Salisbury, Bracknell Town host Carshalton and Binfield travel to Harrow Borough.

And it's the Thatcham tie which will get live coverage.

The BBC are giving live coverage at every stage of the competition and the cameras will be at Waterside Park for this first qualifying round tie and therefore available to watch on tablet, phone and desktop.

It's led to the kick-off time being brought forward from 3pm to 12.30pm.

Salisbury are managed by former Football League side and BBC pundit Steve Claridge, who commented: "It gives teams at our level a chance to showcase themselves. It should be a good game, so hopefully, the coverage will be a good advert for the non-league game."

Southern League Division One South leaders Thatcham Town have won twice in the past week despite playing the whole of the second half a man down after having Kyle Tooze sent off in their 2-1 win at Paulton Town last Saturday and then Callum Willmoth red carded during their 3-0 victory over Cirencester on Tuesday, with the visitors also having a man dismissed in the 40th minute.

Isthmian League South Central side Bracknell are another team in form following wins over Ashford Town and Marlow in the past week, and will be looking for another against Premier Division visitors Carshalton.

Reading-based roofer Shane Cooper-Clark is likely to miss the game due to injury.

Unbeaten Hellenic Leaguers Binfield also have injury concerns ahead of their tie at Southern League Premier Division South club Harrow Borough.

But 18-year-old goalkeeper Joe Williams looks certain to retain his place, having played well in the club's 1-0 FA Vase win over Virginia Water last Friday.

He played much of his junior football as an outfield player with Burghfield Boys, only pulling on a keeper's jumper four years ago.

He spent two years as an apprentice with Scottish club Ross County before recently signing for Binfield.
