WOKINGHAM A finished sixth in Division One East of the Kennet League and prevented Suttons A from becoming champions after winning their last game of the season 78-76 (8-6 on points).

Top rink for Wokingham was skipped by Paul Dollery along with Terry Oakes, Kevin Walter and Adie Chipper who won their game by 10 shots.

In Division Two East, Wokingham B went down 87-80 (12-2) at Maidenhead Town B, the top rink winning by eight shots comprising skip Colin Cleverly along with Pat Cleary, John Macgregor and Noel Butler.

Wokingham C lost 46-31 (12-2) to Desborough B in Division Three East, while in Division One Central East of the Kennet LV League, Wokingham A were beaten 59-34 (10-0) by champions Suttons A.

They then drew 54-54 with Great Hollands, though the hosts took six league points to Wokingham's four.

Wokingham B lost 57-49 (6-4) at home to Suttons B.

Top triple for Wokingham was skipped by Cleary along with Macgregor and Brian Chinneck. They won their game by 13 shots.

In Division Three Central East, Wokingham C beat Maiden Erlegh 54-49 (6-4).

Wokingham D played twice, losing 54-48 (8-2) to Crowthorne, but beating Suttons C 55-38 (8-2).

Wokingham Acorns beat Great Hollands 59-41 in Division One of the Thames Valley Ladies League, but Wokingham Oakapples were defeated by both Maiden Erlegh and Desborough in Division Two.

l GREAT Hollands were edged out 77-75 (8-6) by Suttons B in Division Two East of the Kennet League, leaving them fourth in the table.

In Division Two Central East of the Kennet LV League, Great Hollands B finished their campaign with a 62-56 (6-4) victory at Maiden Erlegh B, while basement side Great Hollands C went down 70-32 (10-0) to runaway champions Palmer Park.

l SUNNINGDALE's final Kennet League Division Two East game of the season resulted in a 76-70 (6-4) reverse at Desborough A.

Sunningdale A lost 74-48 (9-1) in Division One East of the Kennet LV League, and in Division Two East, Sunningdale B lost 52-49 (6-4) to Maidenhead Town C.
