BOTH the Slough Town Community Teams have won their respective BOBi Leagues at Oxford City.

The Conference side, managed by Alex Efthimou, wrapped up the league title with five wins and two draws, and without conceding a goal.

Slough Town

would like to congratulate Efthimiou for managing this team to success in what was a competitive league.

Alan Meredith’s League Two side had won their league before kicking a ball. They played out five scoreless draws.

Meredith shouldered the blame for a lacklustre performance in front of goal having made tactical changes, but the club realises that work is required to perform at the next BOBi level next season.

Their season is not yet quite over as they still have the South East Counties Plate final to play in Kent in the coming weeks.

Slough Town are proud of all the players. The two teams have come so far and continue to go from strength to strength.
