Reading FC are set to appear in a documentary highlighting Leeds United's 2018/19 season.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa led his side to the brink of automatic promotion before settling for a place in the play-offs.

However, the Whites suffered defeat to Derby County in the semi-finals, ending their Premier League dream for another season.

It was a season of massive controversy at Elland Road, with all the fallout from the Spygate scandal after Bielsa admitted using his staff to spy on their opponents before matches.

And it appears that supporters will soon have the chance to relive all the drama with the Daily Mail reporting that a deal has been signed for a documentary on the campaign.

Yorkshire-based filmmakers The City Talking have been filming behind-the-scenes throughout the season as Leeds looked to gain promotion back in the Premier League.

Amazon have reportedly agreed a deal to take on the Leeds story after recent successful football documentaries following Manchester City and Sunderland drew in huge audiences.

Bielsa's side won against Reading FC on both outings, with a 1-0 win at Elland Road in November and an easy 3-0 win at the Madejski in March.
