SIX Rams RFC players have been selected for The Rugby Paper's National Two South dream team.

Seb Reynolds' men enjoyed a sensational season which saw them crowned champions with 28 victories from their 30 games, and a half dozen of their stars have now been picked as the best player in their position.

Captain Tom Vooght was selected at flanker, and was joined in the pack by the side's top try scorer, hooker Ben Henderson, and tight-head prop James Baker.

Fly-half Alex Seers, who joined the club last season, was also selected, along with inside centre Andrew Humberstone and wing Jak Rossiter, who scored one of the tries of the season with a length-of-the-field effort at home to Redruth.

Just missing the cut, but commended for their efforts, were prop Niall Kidd and fellow forward Jamie Guttridge.

Rams CEO Gary Reynolds said: "It's a great tribute to our squad of players that so many of them have been recognised as being amongst the best rugby players in National Two South.

"We are very proud of what they achieved last season.

"It is also a tribute to the determination and ambitions of this side, built predominantly from local talent, that they are already working towards taking their place in National One and we will shortly be announcing a very exciting squad for the coming campaign."
