BOYNE Hill continue to set the pace in Division One after a 120-run win at rivals Stoke Green on Saturday.

The visitors won the coin toss and chose to bat first, reaching 305 runs all out from 49.2 overs.

Opening batsman Matthew Leipold top-scored with 85 runs with 83 balls, which included 10 boundaries and one maximum hit.

Fellow opener Chris Shave made 40 from 39 balls, while Sajid Ali, batting at number three, added 31 and number eight Tom Mellor an unbeaten 24.

The wickets were shared amongst the seven Stoke bowlers, with the pick on figures being Drij Vyas (2-41 from nine overs).

Gagan Singh took the wickets of Leipold and Ali in his 2-42 from 10 overs, while Zulfi Butt claimed 2-45 in his 10 overs.

managed 185 runs all out from 48.2 overs to suffer consecutive defeats at the start to the new season, leaving them in seventh place in the table.

Number seven Muhammad Nadeem top-scored with 72 runs from 67 balls, which included seven boundaries and three maximum hits.

Raja Ifraz Khan, batting at number nine, finished unbeaten with 32 runs, while Vyas made 19 and Gagan Singh 15.

bowlers with his figures of 3-40 from 9.2 overs, which included the wickets of both openers, Dan Simpson (13) and Jasraj Ghrial (1).

Naveed Zaigham claimed the wickets of Nadeem and Sukh Dhillon for a golden duck in his 3-60 from 10 overs.

The pair were backed up by Alex Bartlett (2-14 from five overs) and Wasim Maharoof (2-20 from 10).

North Maidenhead made it consecutive wins at the start to the new season following their 101-run victory at Falkland last weekend.

The visitors were invited to bat first and reached 338-5 from their allotted 50 overs.

Opening batsman Fahim Qureshi top-scored with 112 runs, while Shazad Asghar made 87 and number six Sahaan John an unbeaten 66.

Qureshi and number five Asghar put on 177 runs for the fourth wicket and lift the score from 67-3 to 244-4, before Asghar and John added 94 in a fifth-wicket partnership.

The pick of the six Falkland bowlers was Nigel Trumper with his figures of 2-49 from 10 overs. He was backed up by Charlie Dale (1-51) and Jason Williams (1-57).

The home side managed 237-9 from their allotted 50 overs for a second consecutive defeat.

James Ettridge was the top runs scorer with 53 and fellow opening batsman Danny Williams made 37. The pair put on 79 for the first wicket.

Ben Piper, batting at number seven, added 28, Dale 23* and Sam Trumper 19.

Mirban Saleem was the pick of the Maidenhead bowling attack with his figures of 3-35 from 10 overs, which included the wicket of Falkland captain Williams for a duck.

Usman Ilyas claimed the wicket of Ettridge in his 3-66 from 10 overs, while the other wickets fell to John (1-38) and Humza Majid (1-44).

North Maidenhead make the trip to Gerrards Cross, who have also won their opening two matches this season, on Saturday.

Slough 2s recorded a first win this season when defeating High Wycombe 2s by six wickets at Upton Court Park.
