MARLOW United's dreams of a treble were dashed in heartbreaking fashion as they lost the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy 5-4 on penalties to Old Bradwell United.

The Premier Division champions played out a 0-0 draw on Saturday, and actually led 2-1 after three penalties before Bradwell rallied.

During the shoot-out, Chris Hurst netted, Ollie Flint had his effort saved, Qwam Thomas and Adam Harman scored, Alex Sethi missed, James Namyslak was on target but James Hardie's shot was kept out.

Marlow goalkeeper Matt Cannings saved the second and third Bradwell penalties.

Wargrave completed a league-and-cup double with a 3-0 cruise against Westwood United Reserves in the final of the Berkshire Trophy Centre Intermediate Cup.

Their Division Two title triumph was confirmed after nearest rivals Mortimer Reserves were held to a 2-2 draw by basement boys Goring United, leaving Wargrave two points clear at the top.

Jordan Webb and Chris Leach were the Mortimer goalscorers, with George O'Brien and Daniel Carter replying for the visitors.

Cameron Netherwood-Meek, Lee Bell, Aaron Keenan, Jonathon Palmer-Smith and substitute Darryl Wearn were on the scoresheet for Maidenhead Town Reserves as they cruised past Richings Park Reserves 5-1, with Bradley Jones getting the consolation for the away side.

Phoenix Old Boys edged out Harchester Hawks 2-1.

In the Premier Division, Burghfield ended their campaign with a 2-0 triumph at Richings Park, while Division One champions Newbury crushed Eldon Celtic 7-2.

Harvey Yates, Ibrahim Sajid, Conor Breslin, Callum Curran all scored for Maidenhead Town A, and with Joe Park also bagging a brace, Maidenhead Town A eased past Taplow United A 6-2 in Division Three.

James Murdoch and Oliver Eaves were the Taplow goalscorers.

Division For champions Datchet Village won 4-1 at Harchester Hawks Development, and a Jamie Boot hat-trick fired Taplow United A past Henley Town Development 3-1.
