LANGLEY and S4K Wolves took part in a highly-competitive Thames Valley Football Development League Under-11 Vase final at Kedermister Park, writes Rob Stevens.
The first half was a tight affair with both sides solid in their build-up play but creating little in the way of chances.
Langley finally found a way through thanks to a well-worked move from a throw in that ended with Kye Lumsden rounding the keeper to tap in from short range.
The Wolves pushed hard for an equaliser and were eventually rewarded with a goal that was prodded home at the third attempt following a scramble inside the box.
The parity did not last long however and Langley were soon in the lead again as Nzube Chukwu was on hand to prod in a loose ball.
S4K Wovles did not give up but found the Langley team, driven by a player-of-the-match Adam Amir, difficult to get past.
His side added a third goal late on, again from Chukwu, to put the result beyond doubt.
