WINDSOR completed a hat-trick of wins in the Hellenic Premier Division after a 2-0 victory against Fairford Town on Saturday, writes Rob Stevens.

Goals from Kane Fitzgerald and George Gould, his 50th for the club, either side of the break secured all three points in a comfortable performance at Stag Meadow.

The win means Windsor remain in seventh position in the league table and now three points behind Ascot United with three matches in hand on their rivals.

Windsor remain at Stag Meadow for the visit of promotion-chasing Bishops Cleeve this Saturday (3pm) and then Flackwell Heath next Tuesday (7.45pm).

Virginia Water brought the curtain down on their season with a 3-1 defeat at title-chasing Wantage Town last weekend.

Goals from Ben Cook and Steve Robertson gave Wantage a clear lead heading into the break at Alfredian Park.

The Waters pulled a goal back through Maciej Tajs four minutes after half-time, but a second strike from Robertson secured all three points for the home team.

Virginia Water currently stand in 12th position in the league table but they can mathematically still finish in the relegation zone should other results go against them in the final weeks.

Holyport extended their unbeaten run in Division One East to six matches following a 2-0 win against Wallingford Town last weekend.

Goals from Jamie Handscomb and Fabian Driffill either side of the break secured all three points at Summerleaze.

The win means Port remain in fourth position in the table ahead of a trip to third-placed AFC Aldermaston this Saturday (3pm).

Holyport turn their attention to the Hellenic Subsidiary Cup and a home semi-final against rivals Burnham on Tuesday (7.45pm).
