DATCHET Village have reached the semi-finals in the Berks & Bucks Saturday Junior Cup for the first time in the club’s history after a 3-1 win against Milton Keynes Wanderers.

Datchet opened the scoring through Kudzai Chunga and extended their advantage just before the break with a well-taken goal from Jack Sanderson.

The home team continued to dominate the game, but gifted Milton Keynes a comeback when over-committing players at a free-kick, allowing for the Wanderers to break and score.

The tie was put to bed with five minutes remaining however as Dan Chenery chipped the keeper.

Datchet have been rewarded with a home tie in the semi-finals against Willen on Saturday 23rd February.

East Berkshire League side Britwell Reserves will host Maidenhead Town Reserves in the semi-finals should they win at Milton United A on Saturday 16th February.
