ASCOT United, without a game last weekend, return to Hellenic League action this Saturday (3pm) with a home fixture against Flackwell Heath, the sides currently lying third and seventh respectively in the Premier Division, writes Dave Wright.

Ascot's development side are through to the semi-finals of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup after defeating Kintbury Rangers 5-1 with goals from Robbie Veasey, Harry Sheridan, Aaron Ross, substitute Antwayne Plummer and Josh Nice.

After falling behind to a 23rd-minute penalty from Anton Fernandez, they drew level three minutes later thanks to Charlie Oakley, only for Fernandez to snatch the winner in stoppage time at the end of the game.

The Fizzers host Bedfont & Feltham this Saturday.

Eversley & California ended a run of five defeats with a 2-2 home draw with Cove, but it was a rather disappointing result as they went two goals up in the first half.

Brad Brown put them ahead with a 15th-minute penalty and the same player scored again in the 27th minute after being set up by Sam Knight.

But bottom-of-table Cove pulled a goal back early in the second half and drew level late on, their goals coming from Terry Brooks and Michael Flounders.

The Boars, who were scheduled to visit Hanworth Villa in the Southern Combination Cup last night (Tuesday), are away to British Airways at The Orchard in Bedfont this Saturday.
