KINGFISHER A made it 12 wins from 12 in Division One of the Reading & District League as they beat Kingfisher D 9-1, Dmitry Khakhamov and Hari Gehlot with hat-tricks.
Phil Mead, Ivor Hardman and Nigel Keedy were all in top form as Kingfisher C beat Sonning Common & Peppard B 10-0, while second-placed Kingfisher B won 8-2 at Sonning Common & Peppard A, Mark Banks and Martin Adams with maximums.
The Tidmarsh derby ended all square with Barry Carter and Steve Murgatroyd winning two each for the A team, while Lee Calcutt got a maximum for the B side. Curzon Club A won 6-4 against Sonning Common & Peppard C despite a fine treble from Niall McGrane.
Kennet Valley Free Church A kept the gap between themselves and the bottom two the same as they held Milestone A to a 5-5 draw, Julian Telford getting a maximum.
In Division Two, Graham Mendick won twice for Milestone B, but they lost 8-2 to Sonning Sports A as Paul Savage secured a hat-trick.
Kingfisher F and Our Lady of Peace A battled out a tight 5-5 draw, while bottom-of-the-table Kingfisher E held Tilehurst Methodists A, Tariq Ramjaun winning twice.
Alistair Richardson starred with a treble as Our Lady of Peace B won 7-3 at Pangbourne A, while leaders Springfield A won 8-2 win at Our Lady of Peace C, Binit Bhaskar getting the OLOP victories.
Ian Wu was the star for Tidmarsh C in Division Three, hitting a great treble to help them beat Springfield B 6-4.
Kingfisher G maintained their unbeaten record by beating Curzon Club C 7-3, Gwynne Penny winning all three, while hat-tricks from Nigel Rowland and Patrick O’Sullivan helped Tilehurst Methodists B win 9-1 at bottom side Kingfisher H.
Jazz Dhillon played in his first match of the season for Reading FC A and won all three to help them beat Sonning Sports B 8-2.
Our Lady of Peace D and Springfield C shared the spoils with Graham Stark and Simon Brookes winning two for OLOP and Jason King matching them for Springfield.
Despite a hat-trick from Terry Hardie, Tidmarsh D could only draw 5-5 at Sonning Common & Peppard E.
In Division Four, Tidmarsh E had a hard-fought encounter with Springfield E, eventually winning 8-2 thanks to a treble from Peter Sinclair and doubles from both John Harland and Roger Stevens. Reading FC B beat Kingfisher I 7-3.
Joe Bull recorded a further maximum, supported by a double from Harry Edwards, while in reply Sandeep Burande bagged a brace.
Milestone C entertained Kennet Valley Free Church B, losing 6-4 despite a maximum from John Evans. Jamie Li-Telford and Lewis Oke got doubles for Kennet Valley.
Our Lady of Peace E recorded their first 10-0 win, away at Springfield D, with maximums for Ralph Phillips, Chris Bunn and Andrew Adair, enhancing their top-two position.
Sonning Sports C recorded an 8-2 victory against Sonning Common & Peppard F, John Scott recording his first treble while Michael Byrne and Phil Peat recorded their first doubles, both losing to Gerry Bacon.
Tilehurst Methodists C suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 6-4 to Sonning Common & Peppard G, the Commoners winning by virtue of a treble from Anthony Reeve, a double from new signing Ian Davenport and the doubles while, in reply, Methodists’ Roy Hull won two.
