BRACKNELL Athletic Under 15 Bombers emerged victorious from an eight-goal thriller to beat hosts Sandhurst Town Boys 5-3.

Bracknell, who lost the previous weekend, fell behind following a defensive mistake and they trailed 1-0 at the break.

However, they equalised early in the second half through a Harry White penalty before a three-goal burst in a 20-minute spell put them well in command.

Alex Vincent, Billy Wooden and White again all netted to put them 4-1 ahead.

Sandhurst, to their credit, refused to lie down and two quick goals in quick succession make it 4-3.

But Bracknell ended hopes of a comeback when Micky Doherty converted White’s corner at the back post on his return from a long injury lay-off.
