SHAUN Bannon, Richard Howell and Tom Lumley all got on the scoresheet for Hurst, but they were beaten 4-3 by Westwood United Reserves in Division One of the Thames Valley League.

The defeat leaves Hurst sixth in the table, having picked up 10 points from their nine games so far.

Hurst Reserves were knocked out of the Reading Jubilee Cup following a 4-2 defeat at Twyford & Ruscombe.

Sean Kelly put the home side in front on 25 minutes, only for Ashley Lamb to step off the bench and equalise for Hurst on the hour mark.

However, a stunning Nathan Manser hat-trick in the space of seven minutes put the game to bed for Twyford, Noah Hodge grabbing a late consolation for the away side as they exited the competition.
