Royals boss Paul Clement is planning to use the fortnight’s break in domestic fixture to iron out his side’s problems on the training ground.

Last weekend’s 4-1 defeat at West Brom leaves Reading 21st in the table and one point off the bottom.

“We’ll train all week then have a couple of days off because there’s no game,” said Clement. “Then next we’ll be back to prepare for Millwall.

“We don’t have all the players around, but we certainly have enough to do some good work with.”

Strikers Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Sam Baldock should both be fit for the home game against Millwall on October 20 having missed the trip to the Hawthorns last Saturday.

Defender John O’Shea should also be available after recovering from a knock he picked up in training.
