The roof of a block of flats has collapsed across the road in Slough High Street.

All emergency services are on the scene - and South Central Ambulance Service says the roof from a flat block has "blown across the road".

Shocking video taken at scene appears to show the entire roof of a building has crashed down onto the road below.

Emergency services have confirmed that miraculously, no one has been injured.

Thames Valley Police officers have urged members of the public to stay away from the area.

Slough Borough Council is aware of the situation and has specialist officers on scene helping the emergency services.

It is not clear how the roof fell down - but the county is currently being battered by strong winds as Storm Brendan causes chaos across the country.

Paradigm Housing has confirmed it was of their buildings that has been affected.

In a statement, they said: "We are aware of an incident affecting one of our properties in Slough.

"We have staff on site and are working with the emergency services and supporting residents.

"If you need to contact us please ring 0300 303 1010 where you will be connected to our out of hours provider."

More as we get it.
