The people of Datchet got into the Christmas spirit as the St Nicholas Fayre took place on Saturday, November 30 at St Mary’s Church.

On the day, people from all over the village attended the event where there more than 50 stalls offering food, drink, shops along with Santa’s Grotto.

Children enjoyed writing their letters to Father Christmas which were later sent to the North Pole, whilst parents and guardians enjoyed drinking prosecco and eating mince pies.

There was also a grand auction where participants and customers won a number of prizes, a face painting stand and a nature grotto, where the people of Datchet learnt about the wildlife in the village.
