An investigation was underway on Wednesday into the death of an woman pensioner who fell from a second floor window in Buckingham Avenue, Slough.

Georgina Hindmarch was approaching her 63rd birthday when she toppled from the window at Priory Heights in Buckingham Avenue in July. She suffered fatal injuries which led to multiple organ failure after paramedics rushed her to St. George’s Hospital in Tooting.

She was certified dead just after 7pm on July 5, just 10 days before her birthday.

A post mortem examination was carried out on the OAP and coroner Heidi Connor, sitting at Berkshire Coroner’s Court, confirmed this week the cause of her death as multiple organ failure and polytrauma.

The coroner heard that a full inquest date is yet to be confirmed as further investigations into Ms Hindmarch's death were still to be carried out.

Ms Connor said: "I would like to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Georgina Hindmarch at this difficult time."
