A man has been charged with two counts of murder after two people were found stabbed to death in a London home.

Mustafa Arizo, 31, of Redfern Avenue, Whitton, was charged on Sunday, July 14.

It comes after a 31-year-old man was arrested in Slough on suspicion of murder at around 3pm on July 12 after police were called out to the property, also in Redfern Avenue at around 9.40am on the same day.

Akbar Arizo, 74, and Layla Arizo, 73, were found fatally stabbed inside their address.

Post-mortems carried out on Sunday (July 14) revealed the cause of death as stab wounds.

Arizo appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.

He will next appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday this week.
