A MAGICAL musical bike is set to appear at this year’s 25th annual May Fayre celebrations in Wokingham.

The town will be celebrating its annual fayre on Monday, May 6 where residents can gather together to raise money for worthy causes.

The bike, which will be just one of the many attractions for children will entertain with its jolly tunes, silly games and masses of bubbles.

This years fayre is organised by the Wokingham Lions Club.

Andy Slay, chairman of the May Fayre Committee, said: “The May Fayre is a wonderful day out for all families and people of all ages. There are charity, craft and trade stalls, and a change to win a prize at some competitions.

“Among the many activities this year are Punch and Judy shows, magic shows, Morris dancers, animal farm, fun fair rides and circus scene performers.”

This environmentally-friendly bike is powered by batteries, which are charged by sunlight.

The quirky bike will be in and around Wokingham Town centre on May 6 from 11.30am to 4pm. For more information, visit: www.wokinghamlions.org.uk/mayfayre.
