A NUMBER of bonfires were being lit over the weekend sparking health concerns over the effect it has with the coronavirus.
Bracknell Forest Council said they received a 'number of complaints' from residents regarding bonfires during the coronavirus lockdown weekend.

As such, residents are being asked not to light fires in their gardens and to use brown bin or sacks to dispose of garden waste.
A council spokesman said: "We would like to ask everyone to consider their neighbours and the current situation with coronavirus, which is essentially a respiratory disease.

"We have been working with its refuse collection partner, SITA, to transfer waste collectors and drivers from other contracts to Bracknell Forest and we are able therefore able to re-start garden waste collections as of Monday 6 April.
"This will allow residents to dispose of their garden waste without causing environmental health issues for their neighbours. Please put your waste out on your usual collection day by 6:30am."
