READERS of Bracknell News have submitted photos of bad parking from across the area.

Cars parked on roundabouts and pathways has residents feeling angered in Ascot.

This comes after the government launched a national inquiry into the 'real problem' on our roads where some MPs are calling for a “long-term” ban parking on pavements in England.

The government's transport committee said that there has been a 'lack of progress on the issue'.

A passerby in Bracknell recently sent a picture of a maintenance van parked in the middle of a pathway, blocking access for pedestrians.

One resident called Arora who lives on Woodlands Ride has requested Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) to monitor the area for the past three to four years because of how out of control the parking is.

She said: "We, the residents have been requesting the council to monitor Woodlands Ride for the last three-four years as there is a lot of illegal parking on double yellow lines, around the roundabout and blocking of narrow drives by big 4x4s who use the Swinley Forest for dog walking.

"Parking starts early morning and continues all day till dusk."
