Out of the entries received, 22 children were chosen to attend a special LEGO workshop during February half term.

Students were presented with thousands of LEGO pieces and built a diverse range of models.

These included a double-headed green dragon named 'Fangzor’ created by William Foulkes, to a large colourful ‘Rainbow Rocket’ made by Coco Mead.

Jasmine Dixon made a family portrait of her with her grandparents, created using techniques she learnt during a LEGO after school club she attends at Emmer Green Primary School.

Every child who attended the workshop was given an exhibitor lanyard and invited to attend the Reading Brick Show as a guest exhibitor.

Show organiser Erica Grieve said: “I build with local children in primary schools throughout the year and it is a privilege to have a group of them exhibiting at our LEGO show.

"The Reading Brick Show attracts the best LEGO builders from across the UK and it’s exciting to have the kid’s models standing side-by-side with their amazing creations.” The second annual Reading Brick Show will be held at Rivermead Leisure Complex on March 7 and March 8.
