TWO of Bracknell's favourite fast food takeaways has been shortlisted for a top award.

The popular Muzzy's Kebab Van in Forester's Way and Murats Kebab are up for winning 'Best Kebab Van of the Year' at the British Kebab Awards 2020.

Resident's in Bracknell said Muzzy's is one of the best places to get a kebab in Bracknell with one person commenting: "I’ll shall be at Muzzy's on the way to Crowthorne tonight. Wouldn’t be a Saturday without one."

And another person called Richard Knight said their kebabs are "definitely the best".

The awards sees thousands of people vote based on hygiene and online satisfaction ratings, as well as social support using the #BritishKebabAwards.

Kebabs are also proven to be a popular choice amongst the British public, with more than one third 36 per cent, of the population having eaten one in the last month.

Debbie Wilkins said on a public Facebook page: "Muzzy’s all the way. Everything is so fresh and delicious"

This numebr doubled to 63 per cent with 18 to 24-year-olds.

Each finalist will battle it out to win one of the 15 awards on offer.

The categories range from Best Newcomer and Chef of the Year to Best Kebab Van, Customer Satisfaction as well as the eight awards for the best kebabs restaurants across the UK.
