A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Reading and Bracknell this weekend as Storm Dennis is expected to hit the region.

The Met Office has warned of strong winds and heavy rain throughout the weekend.

Here's a full breakdown:

Reading

Strong winds are expected in the region throughout Saturday and Sunday with speeds reaching up to 52mph.

Heavy rain is expected to begin at 11am on Saturday and continue until 3pm on Sunday.

Lighter showers are expected from 6pm on Sunday with a clear night anticipated.

Temperatures on Saturday will hit a low of 10 degrees and a high of 12 degrees.

Sunday will reach a high of 13 degrees at around 6am and a low of 7 degrees from 6pm.

Flooding is possible along the Lower River Loddon and River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne and Sulham Brook but property flooding is not currently expected.

Bracknell

Strong winds are expected in the region throughout Saturday and Sunday with speeds reaching up to 53mph.

Heavy rain is expected from 12pm on Saturday but will get lighter from 10pm until 12am on Sunday.

From then, there will be heavy rainfall until 6pm followed by lighter showers.

Temperatures on Saturday will hit a low of 10 degrees and a high of 12 degrees.

Sunday will reach a high of 13 degrees at around 6am and a low of 7 degrees at 6pm.
