A CHARITY musical evening organised by Langley and Iver Rotary Club has raised £1,500 for Cancer Research.
Iver Village Hall welcomed 150 people who enjoyed food from Iver Fish and Chips and diverse talents from around Slough, ranging from the Iver Singers to Bollywood dancing from the Fireflies and Morris dancing.
There was a raffle and an auction.
The Rotary Club of Langley and Iver was formed in 1972 and meets on a Thursday evening at Pinewood Hotel, George Green at 7.30pm
Over the last year members have taken part in activities such as the Go-Ape challenge at Black Park, Dragon Boat Racing on the Thames, the London to Brighton Cycle Ride, a Murder Mystery Night at The Beck Theatre and a tour of the Windsor and Eton Brewery.
